The screenplay was written by Molina and Matthew Aldrich. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">It launched in the United States on November 22 in 2017 and has grossed about $ 745 million worldwide. The film received praise for its animation, voice acting, music score, songs, emotional story and respect for Mexican culture. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Coco premiered on October 20 in\u00a0 2017, during the Morelia International Film Festival in Morelia, Mexico. <\/span><\/strong><strong><span lang=\"en\">Lee Andrick first came up with the idea for the film in 2010. <\/span><\/strong><strong><span lang=\"en\">On April 13, 2016, Andric announced that they had started working on animation. The screenwriter of the film Adrian Molina was promoted to second director in 2016. Disney has demanded that the film be trademarked. The story is about 12-year-old Miguel Rivera who is unexpectedly transported to the land of the dead, where he seeks the help of his musical great-great-grandfather to return to his family among the living. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">\u03a4he protagonists of the film are <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Alana Ubah, Rene Victor, Ana Mourgouia Benefit and Edward James Olmos.
