The collaborative book \"Smoking and Health\" created by our school at e-me, is a collective effort of students and teachers with the aim of informing, raising awareness and cultivating attitudes that promote health. Through the collaboration of schools, each thematic unit is approached holistically, combining scientific knowledge, critical thinking and creative expression.<\/span>
\nThe first unit presents smoking as a phenomenon: its different forms, the distinction between active and passive smoking, as well as the chemical composition of tobacco. The second unit examines the effects of smoking on the human body. The third unit focuses on the relationship between smoking and mental health. The fourth unit gives particular emphasis to special population groups, such as pregnant women and children. The fifth unit examines the electronic cigarette and new tobacco products.<\/span>
\nThe book is completed with interactive knowledge quizzes, which reinforce learning in a playful way, as well as with \u201cLife Messages\u201d on a digital board, where students express their commitment to the value of health, prevention and a responsible attitude towards themselves and others.<\/span>
\nOur students gathered general information about smoking by completing the first thematic unit. Specifically:<\/span>
