We created infographics on the environmental impacts of cigarettes \u2014 an issue that is often overshadowed by its health impacts, but has equally serious consequences for the planet.Tobacco cultivation contributes significantly to deforestation for tobacco cultivation, the use of wood as fuel for drying tobacco leaves, soil degradation (need for more land \u2192 further deforestation) and the reduction of available land for food.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visual communication has the power to convey messages directly and effectively. Thus, the creation of these infographics aims to inform students, enhance environmental awareness, and highlight a lesser-known aspect of smoking.<\/span><\/p>\n
