On 2\/4 an informative presentation was held with the aim of raising awareness among 3rd grade students about the consequences of smoking and the importance of prevention.<\/span><\/p>\n

The school nurse, Sofia Sidiropoulou, undertook the implementation of the presentation. During its duration, reference was made to the basic forms of smoking. Particular emphasis was given to the way in which smoking affects the human body. The effects on the respiratory and cardiovascular systems were analyzed, while special reference was made to its association with the development of various forms of cancer, such as lung, larynx and oral cavity, underlining its seriousness and long-term impact on health.<\/span><\/p>\n

The action concluded with an open discussion, during which students had the opportunity to ask questions, express concerns and actively participate in the dialogue.<\/span><\/p>\n

The students expressed their personal opinions clearly and maturely, utilizing the stimuli they gained from listening to the experts' lectures. Through this process, they developed their critical thinking and cultivated their ability to formulate well-founded positions. At the same time, their active participation in the relevant actions and discussions contributed to expressing their opposition to harmful habits, such as smoking, recognizing its serious consequences for health and the importance of prevention from a young age.<\/span><\/p>\n
