THE HORSES OF DIOMEDES
In Thrace, lived one of the sons of Mars, the king Diomedes. He had four horses named Podagros, Lampon, Xanthos and Dimos.
They had copper jaws and they ate people.Diomedes had them tied but every time when someone unfortunate was shipwrecked at the shores of his kingdom, he gave him to the horses to eat him.
Eurystheus sentded there Hercules. He won Diomedes and he and he took the horses to Mycenae.

Hi Alex, how nice to read about one of Hercules’ labours. Excellent idea to write about a not so well-known labour. Well done for your post!
