Day 4-\u00a0 Climate Change & its effects<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Thursday, February 26, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thematic Topic: <\/strong>Climate change, environmental crisis and possible solutions<\/p>\n

The fourth day of the Eco Culture Lab Erasmus+ mobility<\/strong> was dedicated to understanding the causes, impacts and possible solutions to climate change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Students visited the Goulandris Natural History Museum<\/strong>, where they participated in the interactive educational programme:<\/p>\n

\u201cClimate Change & Us\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf3f Goal: Understand Climate Change<\/h6>\n

During the programme, students learned that climate change refers to long-term changes in the average weather conditions of a region over time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They explored how these changes are mainly caused by the intensification of the greenhouse effect<\/strong>, due to: burning of fossil fuels,\u00a0 deforestation and human activities affecting the environment.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\uddea Interactive Programme: \u201cClimate Change & Us\u201d<\/h6>\n

The approach of the programme was experiential and interactive<\/strong>. At first, they watched a 360\u00b0 interactive exhibition<\/strong>, where they had\u00a0the opportunity to observe how daily human activities affect the climate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, students explored 17 interactive stations in the interactive gallery<\/strong>, each focusing on key aspects of climate change:<\/p>\n

\n\ud83d\udca7 water consumption
\n\u267b waste and recycling
\n\ud83d\udd2c scientific research
\n\ud83c\udf0d environmental and social impacts
\n\ud83d\udc64 personal responsibility and global action<\/p>\n

Students, interacted with digital exhibits and simulations and\u00a0reflected on how individual choices can make a difference.<\/p>\n

Through this visit, students realized that climate change is not only a scientific issue but also a social and global challenge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They discussed how both individuals and societies can take action by:<\/p>\n

\n\ud83d\udca1 making environmentally responsible choices<\/p>\n
