Zolotas historical speeches in Greek

On the 26th of September 1957 and the 2nd of October 1959 Xenophon Zolotas, director of the Bank of Greece and administrator of the Greek Public Debt gives two great speeches in the context of the annual meetings of the World Bank in Washington. The whole speech is in Greek apart from the articles and prepositions, and his intention is purely political; to turn attention of the international public opinion to Greece by sensitizing the elite bankers and the world economy in favor of Greece, which was severely affected and its economy destroyed by the Civil War. The speeches are till nowadays considered historical and Zolotas has become an ambassador of the richness of Greek language.
