However, empowering individuals with essential digital competencies remains a top priority for the EU. From basic skills, such as using a computer or a tablet, to training ICT specialists in emerging technologies like\u00a0<em>AI, Blockchain and Data<\/em>, there is a very lively crowd of organisations, trainers and teachers that are helping Europeans grow in digital. The objective of the Awards is to\u00a0<strong>showcase those good practices<\/strong>\u00a0and help everyone learn from one another.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>A total of 267 applications were received across all the categories,\u00a0<\/strong>representing the excellence of the thousands of experts and trainers that are currently helping Europeans acquire the necessary digital skills for everyday life and work. From private-public partnerships to grassroots endeavors, each of the finalist and winning projects will showcase innovative approaches to fostering digital competencies for adults and students in Europe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: center\">The applications were presented in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/digital-skills-jobs.europa.eu\/en\/edsa24-awards-category-cybersecurity-skills\"><strong>Cybersecurity Skills<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0- projects that empower people, employees, and SME managers with essential cybersecurity skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/digital-skills-jobs.europa.eu\/en\/edsa24-awards-category-digital-upskilling-work\"><strong>Digital Upskilling @ Work<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0- digital upskilling and reskilling initiatives in various sectors, facilitation of job placement of ICT professionals of all levels<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/digital-skills-jobs.europa.eu\/en\/edsa24-awards-category-digital-skills-education\"><strong>Digital Skills for Education<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0- projects specifically aimed at digital upskilling for teachers and\/or students and school administrations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/digital-skills-jobs.europa.eu\/en\/edsa24-inclusion-digital-world\"><strong>Inclusion in the Digital world<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0- digital training and media literacy initiatives for the elderly, unemployed, vulnerable groups, accessibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/digital-skills-jobs.europa.eu\/en\/edsa24-awards-category-women-ict-careers\"><strong>Women in ICT Careers<\/strong><\/a>- projects specifically aimed at increasing the number of women ICT professionals or for the digital upskilling of women in the workforce or younger women in ICT<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: center\">The objective of the Awards is to showcase those good practices and help everyone learn from one another.
