\u00a0Kit<\/b> Se<\/b>bastian<\/b>\"\"<\/b> Connor<\/b> (born 8 March 2004) is an English actor. He has appeared in the films Get Santa<\/a><\/i> (2014), Rocketman<\/a><\/i> (2019) and Little Joe<\/a><\/i> (2019). On television, he had a recurring role in the CBBC<\/a> series Rocket's Island<\/a><\/i> (2014\u20132015) and a voice role<\/a> in the BBC One<\/a> and HBO<\/a> series His Dark Materials<\/a><\/i>. He gained recognition for his starring role as Nick Nelson in the Netflix<\/a> teen series Heartstopper<\/a><\/i> (2022), for which he won the Children's and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Performance<\/a> in 2022.<\/p>\n

Connor made his onscreen debut at the age of eight with minor appearances in Chickens<\/a><\/i> on Sky One<\/a>,<\/sup> the television film An Adventure in Space and Time<\/a><\/i>, and the soap opera Casualty<\/a><\/i>.In 2014, he starred as Tom Anderson in the holiday comedy Get Santa<\/a><\/i>, and as a recurring character Archie Beckles in the CBBC<\/a> series Rocket's Island<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>\n

Connor recurred as young Petya Rostov<\/a> in the miniseries War & Peace<\/a><\/i> and as Bob Sheehan in the miniseries SS-GB<\/a><\/i>.<\/sup>He made his stage debut in Welcome Home, Captain Fox!<\/i> at Donmar Warehouse<\/a>.<\/sup><\/p>\n

Connor had roles in the 2018 films The Mercy<\/a><\/i>,The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society<\/a><\/i>,Slaughterhouse Rulez<\/a><\/i>, as well as the BBC One television film Grandpa's Great Escape<\/a><\/i>.He starred as Alexander in the Old Vic Theatre<\/a> production of Fanny & Alexander<\/i>.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Connor portrayed a teenaged Elton John<\/a> in the musical film Rocketman<\/a><\/i>, and played Joe Woodard in the drama Little Joe<\/a><\/i>.That same year, he began voicing Pantalaimon in the BBC One<\/a> and HBO<\/a> fantasy series His Dark Materials<\/a><\/i>.<\/sup><\/p>\n

In April 2021, it was announced that Connor would star opposite Joe Locke<\/a> in the Netflix<\/a> series Heartstopper<\/a><\/i>, an adaptation of the webcomic and graphic novel of the same name<\/a> by Alice Oseman<\/a>.<\/sup> He originally auditioned for the role of Charlie, but ended up cast as the other lead, Nick Nelson.<\/p>\n
