Mornings
Sleep is a crucial aspect of any athlete’s routine, and LeBron James is no exception. He averages 12 hours of sleep daily, usually broken down to 8-9 hours at night and three hours of napping in the afternoon.
“This may sound weird to you, but for my 13-year career, I’ve taken a nap, for the most part, every day — and for sure on game days,” he told CBS Sports.
Afternoons
When he’s not impressing the crowds with his impressive ball skills, LeBron hits the gym twice to thrice daily, working on drills and cross-training with his personal trainer, Mike Mancias.
"The body is the number one thing," he says. "It’s the temple. We always listen to the body. If you don’t listen to the body, it will fail you."
LeBron's workouts focus on improving his stamina, with a particular emphasis on cycling as a full-body workout. "... the treadmill is good, but the exercise bike is tougher and works more of your body. Do a 10-mile ride uphill, and you know you’ve had a workout," he says.
Evenings
After a sizable dinner consisting of skinless chicken, plenty of greens, and a side bowl of salad, LeBron makes sure to spend quality time with his wife, Savannah, and their three children.
Music is also a big part of LeBron’s relaxation routine, with hip-hop and R&B being his go-to genres. “King” James also takes care of his mental health by meditating and setting aside time for self-reflection.
