Lets hack XBOX HOME CONSOLES!

Xbox (Original):

This thing is a COMPUTER if you mod it.

You’ve got two main ways. A modchip and a softmod.

Softmod:

Use a game exploit, load a modified save and trigger the exploit

Once it works you get a custom dashboard, you can run games from HDD, Emulators, apps, everything!

You can even upgrade the internal hard drive!

Xbox 360:

Now this is VERY risky.

There is NO simple softmod like the original Xbox.

Main methods are JTAG and RGH. Sounds like a human noise, am I right?

Both require opening the console and soldering.

So yeah, it is NOT friendly.

If done correctly, you can run full homebrew, load games from HDD and emulators!

BUT:

High brick risk if done wrong and you might get banned from

The rest xbox consoles are UNMODDABLE. I'm sorry bruv.

Lets hack SEGA PORTABLES!

Game gear:

Get a flashcart that is compatible with the game gear and put your roms. You hacked it. yippee! I guess

Nomad/ Mega jet:

All of them just play sega genesis games, so put an everdrive cart like you would do on a genesis and.. you hacked them. BOTH OF THEM ARE THE SAME THING.

VMU:

Now THAT is what i call shi-

just plug it in your computer and drag n' drop the .VMS files using tools.

These are just memory cards with mini games, so dont excpect it to run doom.

Let’s hack SEGA HOME CONSOLES!

Sega Master System:

Just get a flashcart, load your (legally dumped) ROMs onto an SD card, plug it in…

…and you’re done.

Sega Genesis:

Use a flashcart (like EverDrive-style carts), load ROMs onto SD card and.. plug it in and play.

If you want to play sega CD games, you just burn them. That's it.

Sega Saturn:

NOW things get interesting.

Sega actually tried here.

You can  use a Pseudo Saturn Kai card or Modchip.

The Pseudo Paturn Pai.. DARN IT!! it really is a tongue twister. You use a special cartridge. It lets you run burned discs.

So, burn your games, insert the cart and boot the game.

Sega Dreamcast:

This is where Sega just gave up.

The Dreamcast can run burned games
WITHOUT modding.

All you do:

Burn a CDI image onto a CD-R, put it in the console, and it just… works.

Sega Pico:

You are NOT hacking this.

It’s a children’s edutainment book-console hybrid.

Just no.

Let’s hack PLAYSTATION PORTABLES!

PlayStation Portable (PSP):

This is one of the easiest consoles EVER to hack.

You will need a PSP Memory Stick.

First:
Make sure your PSP is on firmware 6.60 or 6.61.

Then, Download a custom firmware like ARK-4, Copy the files to your PSP via USB, Run the installer from the Game to the Memory Stick menu and Launch the CFW loader

That’s it.

After that, You can run ISO/CSO games, Emulators, Plugins

NOTE:
Most installs are temporary, meaning that you will have to re-run the launcher after a full shutdown

PlayStation Vita:

This one is EVEN BETTER once hacked.

You need an internet connection for this.

Go to this site on your Vita browser: https://guide.psp2.dev/start/hen

Then, Press “Unlock my Vita”. Install both HENkaku and VitaDeploy

If it crashes, Just retry.

Go to Settings, Open HENkaku settings and enable Unsafe Homebrew (its not, really.)

Open VitaDeploy, choose “Install a different OS” and select "Quick 3.65 install".

Wait and follow on-screen instructions.

When it finishes, your Vita reboots into CFW

THE NEXT STEP IS IMPORTANT.

Without this, you redo the hack every reboot.

Install "Enso", Download and install it, run the app and press install

Now, CFW WILL load automatically every time you restart,

Download "VitaShell" (A CFW file manager) and "Homebrew Browser"

These let you install anything else you want.

Firmware matters A LOT:

3.60 has the BEST compatibility, 3.65 is also great but on higher versions people usually downgrade for better support.

And, you're done!

Let’s hack PLAYSTATION HOME CONSOLES!

Unfortunately, because of Sony’s constant “lock everything down” mindset, you CANNOT just freely install custom firmware on EVERY PlayStation like it’s nothing. I am VERY sorry to announce this.

But with this out of the way, LETS GET HACKING!

PlayStation 1:

This console is so old it barely even knows what protection is.

Just Burn your (legally or pirated) dumped games onto a CD and use a modchip or do the swap trick (like a maniac)

And you’re basically done.

PlayStation 2:

This one is AMAZING for hacking.

Get a Free McBoot memory card and you’re set.

Plug it in, turn on the console, and BOOM — hacked menu.

From there you can: Load games from USB or even better, use an internal HDD (fat model only 🙁 )

PlayStation 3:

WARNING:
Mess this up and your console might brick, so BE CAREFUL.

Now things get serious.

You MUST check your model and firmware.

If you’re lucky, you can install full Custom Firmware (CFW)

If not, use HEN (Homebrew ENabler)

Use the browser exploit, follow the steps carefully, and you’re done.

PlayStation 4:

Here’s the catch.

You can ONLY hack it if it’s on the RIGHT firmware.

If it is, Use a browser exploit or Run GoldHEN

If it’s a different firmware, You’re out of luck.

PlayStation 5:

WARNING!!

This console is VERY locked down.

Only specific early firmware versions have exploits.

No simple method like the older consoles.

Bricking Risks:

Any mistake could PERMENATLY damage your system.

So, Follow instructions EXACTLY, keep it powered on and DO NOT UPDATE if you want any chance of hacking.

Lets hack NINTENDO HOME CONSOLES!

Unfortunately, because of the nes and snes's bizzare cartridge, you CANNOT run custom firmware. I am VERY sorry to announce this.

But with this out of the way, LETS GET HACKING!

Nintendo 64:

Buy an EverDrive flashcart with an sd card with your (legally) dumped roms and you've hacked it!

The Gamecube is hard and i am way too lazy to write everything so here is the link!

And Oh, I know the wii cfw INSIDE OUT!

wii:

This console if interrupted might brick the console, so again, BE CAREFUL.

Make sure your wii is on the latest firmware and that it is the original model.

Go to your wii settings and go to internet then console information. That mac address is needed for the next part. Its as useful as mac & cheese. Get it?

Then, go to please.hackmii.com, type in the mac address and cut either wire and save the file. After that, format your SD card to FAT32 and extract the letter bomb files to the SD card.

Eject the SD card SAFELY, put it on your wii and wait for a message to appear in the home menu. Once it appears, click on the letterbomb.

Once it pops up a warning about reselling the software, press 1 once it says: "press 1". I know, I'm smart, am I?

Then once a blue menu appears press A to continue.

Go up to the "install homebrew channel" option and press A. Then, go to "yes, continue" and press A. Once it says its installed, press A.

Go down to bootmii, press A, go up to the option "install bootmii as ios" then press A.

Then, go to "yes, continue" and press A. Once it says its installed, press A.

If you have the option to "Install bootmii as boot2", do the same thing and install it.

Press "Return to main menu" and press "Exit".

You will boot into the Homebrew channel. Go to "exit to system menu" and press A.

It is hacked but it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO BACK UP YOUR NAND.

Then Create an apps folder for homebrew, and a wbfs folder for Wii games!

If you have another model wii, go to this website.

Nintendo switch (2):

WARNING!!

I dont know if this can work on the switch 2, and because of the big modification wall, it might brick it.

Bricking Risks:

We ask that you acknowledge that EVERY time you modify your system, there is always the potential for an UNRECOVERABLE brick. A brick is a damaged device that can no longer function; in other words, something that becomes "as useful as a brick".

Bricks are rare on the Nintendo Switch, but still a possibility — so make sure you read the directions CAREFULLY before performing them, and follow them EXACTLY.

Keep your device plugged in and charged throughout the entire process to avoid data loss or damage from an unexpected power-off.

Because you have to type out your model, you can find the link to that here!

Lets HACK NINTENDO PORTABLES!

GAMEBOY/ GAMEBOY COLOUR/ GAMEBOY ADVANCE:

Buy a gameboy flashcart to the corresponding gameboy model, then put the operating system for the flashcart on the micro-sd card of the flashcart drop some games in and you're done!

DS/ DS LITE (works with any DS model)

Best way to hack it is with a flashcart called "R4". The best one out of all them is ACE3DS+. Then, download twilight menu++ for the flashcart, then to the corresponding flashcart go to flashcart loaders file and drop the files that are inside a folder that is the name of your flashcart into the root of your sd cart. Autoboot is not required, but only if you wanna boot into it automatically. Drop boot.nds, _nds and _gba into your sd card and put it i n the r4 and youre done!

3DS:

WARNING!! By modding your console, you subject it to the remote (but non-zero) possibility of the console being bricked (rendered non-functional). Incorrect file placement wont brick the console, but purposely skipping instructions might.

  1. Power off your console
  2. Hold the (Select) button
  3. Power on your console while still holding the (Select) button
  4. If you do not see a custom menu (your console just boots to the HOME Menu), you may proceed to the next section.

IF it boots to a custom menu, STOP RIGHT NOW! it already has Custom firmware installed.

To proceed, go to this website and find the information.
