I suggest you read the story The Salt Witch. This is a scary story where he talks about a leader of a tribe who had anger inside him and his wife was the one who calmed him down until his wife got sick and the leader did not talk to anyone. Then he went on a long journey and when he returned he started talking to everyone. Why do you say that happened? This story is very interesting.

There are a lot of stories on that site. I’ve read a few of them, and I have some suggestions. If you are interested in reading a short story, I would recommend “One Short” which you can find if you scroll down to “Tall Tales”. Or if you are interested in a spooky campfire story, maybe read “The Bloody Mary Ritual” down at “Ghost tales” (though I wouldn’t recommend it if you get scared easily). “One Short” is about a Mississippi riverboat that was about to sink, and its captain asked for one passenger who was good at praying. One showed up, and the captain told him to stay there and pray because they’re one life-vest short. “The Bloody Mary Ritual” is about 5 girls that were having a sleepover, and one suggested doing the Bloody Mary ritual. So they went to the bathroom, one of them holding a lit candle, and stood in front of the mirror. They said “Bloody Mary” three times. Then some quite strange things started happening, and a white figure turned up in the mirror. The next day, 3 of them were scratched. However, they just made up a story about getting scratched while playing a game to explain the scratches on the 3 girls. They had more sleepovers, but they never tried the ritual again.

Nice reviews, Alex! The rest of you take him into serious consideration when he says that you had better not read scary stories if you get scared easily!

I really like the story the Prison Break. It talks about a prisoner that want to get out from jail. So he desided to hide into a pine coffin where they lay in state overnight in the prison chapel. The next morning, a person and the warden go to deceased the prisoner that had died. Then the warden will left Old Ben behind to fill in the hole while he went back to the prison for his morning coffee. Is this plan going to work? Read the story to learn what is going to happen!

I suggest you read the story of The Salt Witch which has to do with a tribal leader who was always angry and only his wife can calm him down. But when his wife died he showed up for a whole month. When he saw his tribe again he told them about something he had seen when he had traveled far over the prairie next to a pillar of salt. I think this story is amazing.

I have read many scary stores but ”The Bloody Mary Ritual” is the most scary story I have ever read. This story is talking about 5 girls that were having a sleepover and they didn’t had some activity to do so they decided to call the ” Bloody Mary” ghost to tell them about their future. So, they did it . They went to the bathroom, they stand in front of the mirror and they said ”Bloody Mary” for three times. One of the girls was holding a small candle. After few seconds the girls decided to get out of the bathroom but something had locked the door. Suddenly a white figure was on the mirror. The next morning 3 of the girls had scratches. So they decided to make a story about the scratches. They had many sleepovers but they didn’t try again ”The Bloody Mary Ritual”.

I suggest “The Bloody Mary Ritual”. It’s about a friend group that was having a sleepover and decided to try a ritual just for fun but it didn’t turn out to be fun at all!

I suggest “Prision Break” it’s a funny story for a murder who killed 25 people and entered the prision. Twenty seven years later Callahan had tried to escape a lot of times but never succeeded. This time he had a very good plan. His plan was when someone dies in the prision he is getting in the coffin with the dead person and when he goes to the graveyard his partner Old Ben would get him out of the coffin. The plan worked but the only problem is that he stayed in the coffin because Old Ben never got him out…

There are a lot of stories that i liked some were very scary and some were not that scary. The scariest that i liked was the The Bloody Mary Ritual. That a lot of them one of my friends have talked to me about them. One that wasnt that scary was the Yanceys Ghost. Yancey was 77 years old when he traveled to Gardiner, Montana, to witness the dedication of the Roosevelt Arch by President Theodore Roosevelt on April 24, 1903. He met President Roosevelt, but he caught a cold at the event and died of pneumonia a couple of weeks later. He was buried in the old Tinker’s Cemetery near Mammoth, and folks thought that was the last they’d ever see of Yancey. But not so!It soon became apparent that Yancey’s had gone right back to the Pleasant Valley; and Yancey’s ghost made himself at home in Roosevelt Lodge for the next 100 plus years. According to the park employees, Yancey’s ghost will bang a tin cup on the walls of the staff quarters at three a.m. He hides things and makes them reappear in unexpected places. Yancey’s ghost has also been known to unsaddle horse at the end of a long day on the trail. A trickster and a bit of a nuisance, Yancey’s ghost is still as wild as the West he helped tame.

I was happy to see the review of a new story, Vasiliki! It seems to be really interesting although it sounds like a ghost story once again. After all you have learnt the name of a wellknown American president, Theodore Roosevelt, which is quite amazing!

I suggest the story of Bloody Mary. It’s a scary story about 5 girls who went to one of their own houses. The girls were boring and one of them suggested to play Bloody Mary. The Bianca say that the sayed that Bloody Mary was The name of an evil. They went to the bathroom and saw that Bloody Mary was not real, but then Alex screamed and pointed to the mirror. He turned away from the locked door and saw a glowing white figure looking at us in the mirror. Her face was twisted with malice and flames seemed to flicker around her. In one hand she was holding a bloody knife! It was Bloody Mary. They run to the living room to find Bianca because she was not there. Then they look at the wall. “I AM TRUE”. then they found Bianca and cleaned the blood on Sabrina and Alex and Bianca and then the five of them were crammed into the living room for the rest of the night. They never tried to say Bloody Mary 3 more times in the mirror.

The American folklore prison break did catch my eye and I must say I enjoyed reading it. From the words of the author, I imagined the story in my head and I must say it was really surprising especially at the end! This short story in some words is about a murderer running away from the police but failing to escape from them. The man ends up in prison and stays there for many years. One day he finds out about Old Ben a man who puts the dead bodies of deceased prisoners who have passed away. The prisoner gets an idea, he decides to befriend Old Ben to help him escape, they became really close in a short amount of time. When it was finally time for the body to be buried the prisoner went inside the coffin, but before he realized he was being dug in in the ground. I recommend reading it if you want to read a small horror story!

I liked all the most of the stories, but in my opinion the best one is the ”Bloody Mary Ritual” I found so intresting the hypothesis, I like scary stories or movies even if they scare me. I think that is a common scene: 5 friends in a sleepover, they ran out of ideas, they start calling ghosts or say scary stories. Anyways I liked this story so much!
