Write two ways in which it complies with the descriptors in the rubrics posted on the wall.

And here is another post about the children of the Holocaust.

Read through it and write two things the post and the digital story share in terms of the information presented.

"In the late 1930s-1940s, Michael Bond, author of Paddington Bear, saw Jewish refugee children (Kindertransport children) walking through London's Reading Station, arriving in Britain escaping from the Nazi horrors of Europe.

Mr. Bond, touched by what he saw, recalled those memories 20 years later when he began his story of Paddington Bear. One morning in 1958, he was searching for writing inspiration and simply wrote the words: “Mr. and Mrs. Brown first met Paddington on a railway platform…”
“They all had a label round their neck with their name and address on and a little case or package containing all their treasured possessions,” Bond said in an interview with The Telegraph before his death in 2017. “So Paddington, in a sense, was a refugee, and I do think that there’s no sadder sight than refugees.”
Paddington Bear - known for his blue overcoat, bright red hat, and wearing a simple hand-written tag that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” Paddington embodies the appearance of many refugee children. His suitcase is an emblem of his own refugee status.
“We took in some Jewish children who often sat in front of the fire every evening, quietly crying because they had no idea what had happened to their parents, and neither did we at the time. It’s the reason why Paddington arrived with the label around his neck”.
Michael Bond died in 2017 aged 91. The epitaph on his gravestone reads "Please look after this bear. Thank you."

1] The flow of the story is very good the music is completely in line with the digital story. The image is not so good because it is not shows very good the meaning. The same thing happens in zoom, it doesnt zoom much. In contrast to the title centered on the digital story.

1] The flow is very good. The music connect perfectly with the digital story. The image has little to do with the story, its not very good. The zooms were not good at all. But also the title is very good in relation to the text.

2]They both talked about things that a certain person could do.And also they both talked about important things.

First, the music helps us not be bored and it makes us not understand the end of the digital story. The title of the story is perfectly referring to the picture. The flow was actually very good. What impressed me was that the person used other people’s opinions to make the story, that the story was based on another opinion that someone wrote. Then the language that was used for me is a little bit complicated. I also think that it didn’t have a major dramatic question and the picture wasn’t enough clear to point to the details and recognize the people. It didn’t zoom in and out so we couldn’t see all the picture. It didn’t point in the details and it pointed only at the start to a few details and started telling the story from these few details. And in the end, it doesn’t say what the person used to make the story from where the person took the information.

Great observations, Zoe! Indeed, there is no MDQ in this story but the music and the narrator’s voice pair perfectly with the story.

The story has a good flow. The title match exactly with the text. The music and the image don’t match with the text. Zooms didn’t help somewhere. Also the picture wasn’t good. The language for me was a bit difficult.

In my opinion this digital strory is good, because It has enriched vocabulary and I learned some new words that I didn’t know.Although it was difficult to understand everything,it was interesting. Also, the flow was excellent. The music was good. The zoom in and out was very slow and it makes the digital story boring. Finally, the picture wasn’t very good because it was photographed in black and white.

The story was good but it has couple of things i didn’t like.First of all didn’t like the picture as it was a bit blurry.Furthermore, I didn’t like the language because it was little difficult.

Nice observations, Chris! The photo is blurred because it is old

First of all the title suits perfectly to the content of the video. The music brings out the mood of the story, which is very interesting and touching. However, the image is blurred and you cannot clearly distinguish the chidren’s faces. The flow is very good, but the narration is not detailed enough. In the end there are not references to the sources of the information that is given from the story.

    1) The story has an excellent use of language and tenses and has a tittle completely related to the content. The flow of the narrator’s speech was exceptionally good and the language was very comprehensible to me.
    2) The background music used in this digital story perfectly suits it. The story is brief and to the point, but I don’t think it lacks any information.

First of all the music isn’t boring but the music is mysterious. The images are very well but some of them I thought that it wasn’t on the contest but still good. Also I thought the language was a bite difficult. The flow was pretty good. Also the music with the narrator’s voice was relaxing too because the voice wasn’t too loud. The tittle matched with the text. As zoe said too it didn’t zoom in and out so we couldn’t see all the info’s about the images.

It has good flow, music and the narrator’s voiceis relaxing but the picture is still not related to the story. An other think that i didn’t like was that the language was a bite difficult and there were not references to the information that is given from the story.

First, the flow was very good. The music suits perfectly with the story and it makes it more intresting. The title described the picture. The language was a bit dificult for me, but i could understand the important things. The picture wasn’t so detailed and there wasn’t zoom in and out. There wasn’t a major dramatic question.

    1) The story describes the painting very well and gives a lot of information about it, but I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t zoom in the detail they were talking about because it wasn’t clear what they were talking about.
    2) The speaker’s flow was very good. They didn’t stutter while speaking and spoke clearly and slowly.
    3) The language was easy to understand although it contained some words I didn’t know, but I could still understand what they meant from the rest of the sentence.
    4) The music was perfect for the theme, it had the perfect speed and gave a mysterious vibe.

The speaker speaks clearly but quickly, the zoom-in is good, and the best parts of the digital story are the sounds effects and the music that put you in the mood and make you feel bad about the children of the Holocaust. The music helps you create the story of the children in your mind.

The title refers to the words of the speaker perfectly, the sound in the background reminds me of something that could have been playing on a train as the kids ride on there it honestly gives me chills. The speaker sounds gloomy and sad their voice sounds like it’s healing from a cold making it sound shadier and more serious. The fact that she also talks about one of her family’s stories makes it more interesting because it reminds us that there are still people out there who are still alive and some of them even remind themselves of this only to pass the story to younger fellows. Overall beneath the smooth-talking of the speaker that sounds very calm, it has only one picture but somehow has the ability to make us imagine it just with words only. The speaker is speaking clearly so we can understand everything they say. It informs us about everything we need to know about the holocaust. The video is not too short or too long which helps readers’ brains not fill up with too much information or way too little letting them question this subject more than needed.

Great observations! It seems you spent a great deal thinking critically on the story! Well done!

Firstly I would like to start with the positives of this story. The flaw was pretty good and the music in the background was matching the theme of the story and created a really nice atmosphere. The story itself was well written and although there were some worlds I didn’t know I could still understand what was going on.
Apart from the positives, there are also some negative things with this story, the main one being the audio quality. With that I couldn’t enjoy the story as much as I would normally do. Personally I don’t think that the image helped with understanding the story, it was just there for us to have something relative to the story to look at.

You are right, Athina! Here the image serves as historical evidence for the facts narrated in the story, the springboard for the narration of facts to take place.
