  1. From my perspective, the quote mentioned above is a perfect example of how much we ought to cherish our lives. It is true. Life is about choices and thankfully we are the ones who make the vast amount of them. However, I do not support the notion that we should regret any of our choices, as we once thought they were the right thing to do and surely we learned a thing or two from them. Therefore, I do believe that our destiny is in our hands and we can make the life we desire by choosing the things we desire. Danae.S.

  2. In my opinion, anyone who says that they have no regrets or have never made any mistakes, either thinks you’re an idiot as well, or perhaps hasn’t really lived at all. Perhaps spent their entire life in an institution where everything was done for them and was always told what to do. Maybe they spend their entire time in their house and don’t even ever cross the street for fear of falling or getting hit by a car. For someone like this they have to be so cautious and so conservative in the sense that they never take any risks, because they’re always afraid of making mistakes and screwing up.

  3. For me, the quote reveals a life choice that people who want to enjoy every single day should take into account. When people take the risk and make a decision they can achieve their goals or even discover unexpected things about themselves. There’s also a possibility to fail but at least you would have tried and try is the requirement for success. “We are what we chose to be”; so do you want to be somebody who delegates his future to others or someone who gambles but savors every moment? Take the decision.

  4. Life doesn’t just happen. Life is a matter of choices and every single choice you make, makes you. Sometimes, it’s the smallest decisions that can change your life forever. And even though we always try to make the right ones, we should also do our best to learn from the wrong ones. Everything in our lives is a reflection of a choice we have made. So if we want a different result, we should make a different choice. Graham Brown was quoted as saying: “Life is about choices. Some we regret, some we are proud of. Some will haunt us forever. The message: we are what we chose to be.”

  5. Our choices play a major role in our lives. Our choices can determine our future and who we are going to be. So I am in favor of Mr Brown because as he implies life is actually all about choices. We may or may not make the right decisions for us, but eventually we will end up to a straight and clear path where everything will be obvious. Furthermore, because every human differs from one another, we all have different perspectives about reality and as a result we make different choices and end up to different unique paths. So I agree with the message ‘’ we are what we chose to be’’ but I also believe that not only do our choices have impact on our lives, but also they create the rest of our ‘‘life paths’’.

  6. “Life is about choices. Some we regret, some we are proud of. Some will haunt us forever. The message: we are what we chose to be.” Personally I think that every human being have the right to make their own choices and that’ s the purpose of human, to decide what is best for them and what is not. Sometimes we may not be totally sure if what we choose is the right thing but if we don’t take the risk we will never know. We must be proud of our choices and never regret them because we always learn something new from them, so I don’t fully agree with the above statement. Although I agree with the message we are what we chose to be, but I believe not every wrong decision we make always defines us. M

  7. In my opinion this quote represents the human’s lives. People
consciously make choices whether they are right or wrong.
Actually, we are our choices. For this reason we must support
them even if we later realize that they were wrong. We are not
perfect, from the wrong choices we learn to do the right. We must
love the wrong choices and not be afraid of them. In a
book I read that there are no mistakes, only lessons. Our mistakes
    are our experience.

  8. As I see it, the quote is all about the importance of choices and the impact they have on our lives. I agree, to some extent, that our choices define us because choices are what cause actions, and actions speak louder than words. However, I think it’s unfair -in certain occasions- to completely make up our mind on other people based solely on their choices because we might as well be missing the whole picture (especially when ignoring the motives behind the choices). Regret is a feeling we should embrace rather than try to fight, as we should embrace our mistaken choices in order to learn from them and develop as characters.

  9. In general, I agree with the quote mentioned. I believe that our decisions shape our relationships, characters etc., therefore effecting our lives. However, I disagree with the opinion that we should regret our past choices. Every single one of our choices teaches us a whole lot of things and lead us to where we are now. We should cherish even the poorly made decisions and experiences caused by them and we should try and make the best out of them too. Also, I don’t necessarily agree with the ending sentence of the quote either. Sometimes we don’t really have a choice to make, so it wouldn’t be right to be criticized for it. Everything depends on the occasion. But for the most part, I do believe that our choices describe and shape us as humans.

  10. It all happened in the summer of 2019, I was hanging out with a friend of mine who was Just done with the exams to go to university. As far as I knew his expectations were not high Neither low but he also hadn’t researched the Ideal school for his needs. So, when the time came to make his choice, he choose the one with the highest requirements below his grade. After one year of studies, he realised that he was not interested in any of the lessons nor the jobs that the school offered in general. So, he decided that he would have to drop out of university enlist himself to the army (As the law requires) and take the exams he can in order to pursue his dream career. He is currently at the army for Six months now waiting in order to get another shot on following his dream regretting the poor choices he made two years ago.

  11. The meaning of this phrase is something that we all know. Every parent tells their children that every move we want to make is a big decision and the next step is based on this choice.
I think that every teenager wants to take big choices, but they aren’t aware -most of times- of their results. But this is the sweetest part of life. We don’ t know exactly what life keeps us, so there are a lot of surprises that chance our plans and make our life interesting. Of course the choice we make isn’t always the best, so we are wondering what was going to happen if we had choose a different way. But who knows?

  12. As far as I’m concerned, Graham Brown talks about our decisions and their impact on our lives. We definitely make the most of our choices alone, based on our ambitions and dreams, that’s the reason why we also make mistakes. However, that’s life. Everybody has ups and downs. Anyone who says that they have no regrets or have never made any mistakes, either is lying or perhaps hasn’t really lived at all. My advice is to live our lives to the fullest, make mistakes and learn from them. We should also never forget this : “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”, as Oscar Wilde once said.

  13. From where I see it, the statement above raises a good point in
regards life and how it is made out of our choices. I personally
believe that we should be responsible for our wellbeing and
choose the things that truly make us happy in order to create
the life we imagine So, indeed we are what we choose
to be and therefore the best thing we can do is listen to our
heart and our most inherent wants and needs.
