Welcome to our Eco- Culture lab - Erasmus+ Student Mobility Project

Eco Culture Lab – Erasmus+ Student Mobility is an international educational project that brings together students from Greece and Romania to explore the connection between environmental sustainability, cultural heritage, and active citizenship. Through collaborative activities, educational visits and experiential learning, students work together to better understand global environmental challenges while developing important skills for the future. The project encourages students to become responsible, environmentally aware, and active European citizens.

Students from Greece: Panagiotis, Sophia, Stefanos, Lydia, Thomas, Doroniki, Panagiotis, Danai.

Students from Romania: Natalia, Pavel, Daria, Teodor, Sara, Cristian, Sara, Luca

🏫 Participating Schools

This Erasmus+ mobility project brings together two partner schools:

1st Protypo Gymnasio Iliou – Greece (Hosting School in February 2026 & Sending school in May 2026)

Responsible teachers: Marios Xenos, Angeliki Politi

Scoala Gimnaziala “Constantin Parfene” – Romania (Sending School for Ferbuary 2026 & Hosting school in May 2026)

Participating teachers from Romania: Nemtanu Dorina, Nane Daniela Crizantema, Lupu Alina, Matcasu Irina Mihaela.

Students from both schools collaborate in joint activities, exchange ideas, and participate in educational experiences that strengthen intercultural understanding.

🌿 Learning Through Experience

During the mobility week, students participate in a variety of activities such as:

🏛 Educational visits to important cultural sites
🌱 Environmental education programmes
👩‍💻 Digital collaboration activities at school
🌍 Intercultural exchange sessions
🧠 Group discussions and presentations

These activities help students understand the connection between culture, environment and sustainability while developing teamwork and communication skills.

🌎 Project Impact

By participating in this Erasmus+ mobility, students:

✔ strengthen their intercultural communication skills
✔ improve their collaboration and teamwork abilities
✔ gain experience in international educational environments

The project also promotes the use of digital tools and innovative teaching approaches, supporting the modern transformation of education.
