Happy Saint George’s Day 2021
Hello everyone, today is Saint George's day in the UK. Saint George is the patron saint of England.
As we have learned, the flag of England is white with a red cross, (although many people mistakenly think that the flag of England is the Union Jack). This cross is called The Cross of Saint George. Click on the links to see last year's post and learn more!

The capital of England is London. Other cities in England are Manchester, Oxford, Liverpool, Cambridge. Famous English playwright who died on April 23rd is William Shakespeare.
