The Pandora’s box

Zeus distributed gifts to all the gods but did not care much for the people. However, Proetheus, son of Titan Iapetus and Theaida, because he loved and felt sorry for the people, went up to Olympus and stole the fire from Hephaestus' workshop, put it in a hollow well and gave it to the people. Zeus then became very angry. 

But neither did humans escape the wrath of Zeus. He thought of sending them supplies.That's why he ordered Hephaestus to make a woman out of earth and water. She gave her life and all the gods gave her gifts: Athena wisdom, Aphrodite oorfia, Eris cunning.They called it pandora.

and Zeus sent her to earth, giving her a jar, which there had closed all the concessions. Pandora, after descending to earth, opened the jar with great curiosity. Then all the misfortunes were poured out: the Equality, the fraud, the city, the hunger, the diseases.
