    DO:
    1. Stand in line and wait patiently for your turn.
    2. Say “Excuse Me”.
    3. Pay as you go for drinks as you order them in pubs and other types of bars.
    4. Say “Please” and “Thank you”.
    5. Cover your mouth with your hand when yawning or coughing.
    6. Shake Hands when you are first introduced to someone.
    7. Say “Sorry”.
    8.Smile, a smiling face is a welcoming face.
    9. Open doors for other people.
    DON’T:
    1. Don’t talk loudly in public.
    2. Don’t throw any rubbish or cigarette in the street or anywhere.
    3. Don’t steal from shops.
    4. Don’t stare.
    5. Do not greet people with a kiss.
    6. Do not pick your nose in public.
    7. Do not spit in the street.
    8. Do not burp in public.
    9. Do not pass wind in public.

    American manners
    DO:
    1.Do be friendly and shake hands.
    2.Do give a tip for good service.
    3.Do be punctual.
    4.Do be mindful of the signs. Be sure to read the signs.
    5.Do mind your language. Americans are mindful of their language.
    6.Do drink in moderation.
    7.Do maintain eye contact. Be firm, be personable and be able to maintain eye contact.
    DON’T:
    1.Do not travel without papers.
    2.Don’t forget your plastic.
    3.Don’t smoke anywhere.
    4.Don’t stick out your tongue.
    5.Don’t be tactless or non-PS.
    6.Don’t remove your shoes when entering the house unless you’re asked.
