March

It is the beginning of spring, a new season with gradual changes all around us! So let's find out what pleasant surprises await our young learners of English this month!

But first of all, we learned a spring chant!

Students also enjoyed the story of "Goldilocks and the three bears" and "The Myth of the Almond Tree" which game us the opportunity to do some story-telling, use our body to show different moves and play lots of card games with the aim of describing scenes of the story in English, putting them in the correct order and categorizing various items.

But what we enjoyed the most was the smell (...and the taste!) of fresh popcorn!

We also discussed a lot about the development of flowers, discovered the four parts they consist of and created the following:

And before ending the topic of "Spring" we drew the image of a tree in nature, learned how to describe it and show it with our body and finally danced at it!

And because we love nature so much, we all need to be aware of how to protect it and what are some of the things that make our Earth happy and sad...

Step 3

Carnival

Our lesson begins with Ollie wondering what costume to wear at the carnival party! She's got six of them, so after I drew them and we all described them in English learning the words and revising the colours, they helped her decide by voting!

Next, we enjoyed Peppa Pig's "Fancy Dress Party" and had a big laugh!

During the next lesson, Ollie wanted to show us some of the photographs she took at the party but... they were all torn up somehow!!! Time a group work and solving the puzzles altogether!

We also listened to the following song and put the costumes in the correct order while dancing and singing!

Finally, we all chose our favourite animal mask after naming it and danced various carnival songs!
