    Ways of communication
    Dear Wall,
One day we will be able to communicate with magical ways. We have already developed petroglyphs as well as pictograms, but it seems that in the years to come, this type of communication will not be enough for us. First of all, we will create alphabets and we will come up with specific words to use. On top of that, the telegraph will be invented, with the help of which we will be able to send messages elecrtonically, through a wire. Landlines will then be invented. In other words, we will communicate with a strange device called phone. In 1990 A.D. computers and dial up internet are going to be invented and acquire great popularity. Finally, social media will be the next trend, which are platforms where we can upload photos, type messages and make phone calls. Wow!

A successful combination of a caveman’s ignorance and a contemporary person’s technological literacy! Kudos, girl!

Dear wall, one day we will be able to communicate by making our own clouds! After we achieve that we’ ll be able to send codified messages with strange machines and then with animals! After all of these we will be able to speak with other people without being there and then who knows, may be we’ll can see them too!

Very nice, Despina! You managed to assume the role of a caveman finding everything that would follow strange and hard to describe!

    Dear wall,
before Christ was born, people used carving into a rocky surface to capture historic moments.
The Ancient Chinese used smoke signals along the great wall of China which allowed them to communicate from bigger distances.
Then one day after many years had passed the Ancient Egyptians invented the hieroglyphic alphabet that consisted of 22 hieroglyphs which were a combination of syllables and consonants.
Around the 12th century sultan Nur-ad-din had the idea of a pigeon carrying messages to deliver them hundred miles apart. He trained lofts of pigeons to do this job. Carrier pigeons were used during the I and II World Wars. Meanwhile the postal service by people developed.
Since then communication has evolved. Nowadays people communicate through social media. We share photos, stories, social moments, our thoughts and even moments of our personal life with our friends through the use of these apps/websites.
Communication has become much more fun!

A great entry, George! If you had kept the future perspective (a caveman imagining what would happen one day…) it would have been equally interesting!

    Dear Wall,
one day we all used to carve paintings into rocky surfaces or stones in order to communicate. A lot of changes have occured through time and now nothing reminds as of the past. The biggest revolution in a history of thousands of years of communication was the telephone which Αlexander Graham Bell patended. Everything has changed since then and we were totally forgotten. A few years later, computers and dial up internet appeared and wireless connection started to be developed. Within a year, the first SMS message was sent and everyone was shocked! After, a new smart device appered -i don’t really remember its name but I think it is called smartphone or tablet, or both I can’t remember- and was such a good invention that included both phone calls , Internet and SMS. Insane! Technology didn’t stop there! Some guys from USA started the social media era, which means new apps that connect people from all over the world 24 hours a day. That ‘s crazy! I don’t really know if I prefer the way we communicated so many years ago or the nowdays’s communication but I just hope that people won’t forget their ancestors and that they will be happy with their new invetions!
Well that’s all for now! If we have a new revolution I will surely inform you, don’t worry!
    With much love,

A very nice entry, Virginia! The name you’ve chosen rocks! You assumed the role of a contemporary ‘caveman’ taking us on a journey through time!

    Dear Wall,
one day we will have a lot of ways to communicate thanks to the scientists .First and foremost , all the people will have a strange device and they will be able to communicate with everyone ,even if it is strange , just by taping numbers . I am convinced to believe that the most of people today will be very thankful because they can call someone else to find food for them and bring it anytime they want . Also , because of the new devices , people will be able to text someone with a strange way just by typing something small things . Finally , we will can post our photos and find new and old friends with easy ways . I am excited and I can’t wait !
