A town in Greece – Preveza
Preveza is a ancient city and port of Epirus. It is located at the west of Greece at the southern end of Epirus, It is washed by the Ionian Sea and is located at the beginning of the Amvrakikos gulf. It is the seat of the Municipality of Preveza and the capital of the Prefecture of Preveza. The population of the city is 19,042 citizens.
The nearest cities of Preveza are: Parga, Loutsa, Iktio and Valtos.
It has a long coastline with wonderful beaches, important archeological sites such as Nikopolis and the Roman aqueduct, the ancient theater and the Odeon. Nearby is Lake Ziros, a landmark of special beauty. We will also go to Mount Zalongo, a historic place where the sad dance of Zalongos took place, where many women and their children fell from this mountain to escape the slavery of the Turkish conquerors. The last point of interest is the river Acheron, with its Necromancer.
Preveza looks like an island a
nd combines a quiet holiday with cosmopolitan life. Narrow alleys and neoclassical buildings are some of its features. In the summer, a lot of people come from both the rest of Greece and from abroad with sailboats that sail along the waterfront. Its shops offer delicious foodand a nice view of the sea.

A city in Australia – Sydney
The Location: Sydney is situeted in New South Wales, a state of Australia. It is busy city where 5,5 bilions people live.The city is built next to ocean. It has got many skyscrapers and very beautifull buildings, bridges and parks. It is the most pupoular city of Australia.
The surroundings: West of the city are The Blue Mountains , south of it The Royal National Park and north of it the Hawkesbury River. The climate is tropical. The summer is hot and the winter is cold.
The city: The first people to inhabit the area now known as Sydney were from southeast Asia.This hapened around 30,700 years ago.Today the city has a beautiful opera building overlooking the sea. Opera House was opened in 1973 by Her Majesty. The Royal Botanic Garden is the most important green space in the Sydney region.
I like Sydney because my cusins lives there!

The beautiful island of Symi
LOCATION: On the edge of Greece in the Dodecanese, very close to the advertised and fancy Rhodes, there is a small island that manages to combine tradition with a cosmopolitan air. There are only 3,500 people who live there. Symi is a relatively small, rocky island, the eighth largest island in the Dodecanese.
Surroundings: The beaches of Symi are very clear with clear waters and accessible all by boat, as it is difficult or impossible to reach them by land. Special mention should be made of the beach of Agia Marina with the amazing turquoise waters which have both the picturesque and very old homonymous church built on a very small island. A special feature in Symi architecture are both the round details on the facades of several houses. In the village there are several churches that have historical relics that are worth seeing up close.
The Town: The City is divided into two settlements in Yialos which is amphitheatrically built houses in the village which is built on the slope of Mount Lookout.

The Location

A town in Greece – PARGA
The Location: This town is situated in the north-west of Greece.It is built on a hill and it has 2.415 inhabitants.Parga is a coastal town overlooking the Ionian Sea and it has a view of a beautiful,small island called The Island of Holy Virgin,where there is a church.
The Surroundings: Around the town there are high mountains so it is cold and wet in winter.In summer it isn't very hot because the town is near the coast.
The Town: Parga is over 14 centuries old and it has a beautiful old castle on a rock.There are colourful houses,shops and quiet neighbourhoods in this town.It is called The Princess of the Ionian Sea because it is famous for its beauty and charm!!!!

The Surroundings: New York City is relatively close to other major destinations that you can visit during a day or a weekend. These destinations are Washington D.C. , Philadelphia , Atlantic City and Long Island for summer.
The New York City: One of the greatest cities in the world, New York is always full of activity, with famous sites at every turn and never enough time to see them all. Α city in Greece-Arta
Location:Αrta is situated at the west-side of Greece and there are 67.877 people who live there. It is built near a river named "Arahthos".
Surroundings:Around the city you can see a hill with a hospital on it, a river with an old bridge and some plains.Τhe weather there isn't very good because it is raining very much.
Τhe city:The city is built from 630B.C.Many years ago it was a quiet and peaceful place, but now it is a busy city. It's also the second biggest city in Epirus.It has many important places to visit.There are many museums, churches but the most important place there is the old bridge named "Arta's bridge".There are a lot of cars, busy streets, blocks of flats and stores.There is also a big square in the middle of the city with many cafes and restaurants around.
