All of Edward Hopper’s paintings convey an intense feeling of isolation and alienation, as well. The few people depicted seem immersed in a world of depression. Even the buildings look haunted as though they were the remains of a neutron bomb explosion. What I experience by looking at these paintings is a sense of loneliness and fear. Fear for what is yet to come in a world which has lost its orientation…
What I feel by looking at these paintings is a slight sense of sadness because the people depicted have got depressed facial expressions. They seem unhappy in the world they live in and are robot-like. They have no reason to live. Their life is pointless.
Eng – This which I see in the paintings are people who don’t have a life. They’re empty and acting like robots:no feelings and a depression. Their life has no purpose
You’re Welcome! Ans yes ,I agree with you. They seem happy in their sad.
