“friendship”; a poem by Anastasia Karampini

My poem about friendship!

title: 'friendship"

How can the terms “friends” and “friendship” be translated?

How can we understand these words that are often underestimated?

A friend, an advisor in life,

It’s literally someone who doesn’t leave our side,

No matter what the obstacles, the conflicts,

Someone who understands our friendship’s profits.

You’ll never be alone once you get a friend,

You’ll never feel loneliness’s endless pain.

You’ll have someone who needs your help, and you need theirs to live,

Someone who will spend trillions of tears if you leave.

Someone to embrace you when you’re devastated inside,

If not them, then who will hug you, make jokes, or lend you smiles?

Friend, a term, but most importantly, an individual.

Even one is enough, if it’s a real one.

You will cry with them, laugh with them, get mad for them,

Scold them when needed, embrace them and love them.

An unbreakable bond no one can prove wrong,

Two friends’ bond is as strong as stone…
