🔐 Code Week – Αποκωδικοποιούμε τις πόλεις μας!
Στο πλαίσιο του Code Week και του eTwinning project “Be My Guide! – Our European Adventure”, θα παίξουμε ένα παιχνίδι κωδικοποίησης και αποκωδικοποίησης!
Οι πόλεις μας κρύβουν πολλά ενδιαφέροντα στοιχεία. Αυτή τη φορά, όμως, θα τα κρύψουμε μέσα σε έναν κοινό κώδικα: τον ASCII!
🌍 Η αποστολή μας
Κάθε ομάδα θα γράψει μία σύντομη πρόταση στα αγγλικά για ένα χαρακτηριστικό της πόλης μας.
Για παράδειγμα, για τη Δράμα:
Drama is famous for its wine.
Στη συνέχεια, θα μετατρέψουμε την πρότασή μας σε ASCII κώδικα.
Το κωδικοποιημένο μήνυμα θα σταλεί, μέσω του κοινού μας Taskcard, σε ένα από τα σχολεία-εταίρους μας.
Το άλλο σχολείο θα έχει μια αποστολή:
🔓 Αποκωδικοποίησε το μήνυμα!
Θα αποκωδικοποιήσει τους αριθμούς και θα ανακαλύψει το αρχικό μήνυμα στα αγγλικά.
Έτσι, το ένα σχολείο στέλνει ένα κρυφό μήνυμα και το άλλο σχολείο το αποκωδικοποιεί!
Πώς θα παίξουμε;
1️⃣ Σκεφτόμαστε την πόλη μας
Σκεφτείτε ένα χαρακτηριστικό της πόλης σας που θα θέλατε να γνωρίσουν οι μαθητές των σχολείων-εταίρων.
Μπορεί να είναι:
- ένα γνωστό αξιοθέατο 🏛️
- ένα ιδιαίτερο μέρος 🌳
- ένα τοπικό προϊόν 🍎
- ένα φαγητό 🍽️
- μια παράδοση 🎉
- κάτι για το οποίο είναι γνωστή η πόλη σας ⭐
2️⃣ Γράφουμε ένα σύντομο μήνυμα
Γράψτε μία σύντομη πρόταση στα αγγλικά.
Για παράδειγμα:
Drama is famous for its wine.
3️⃣ Κωδικοποιούμε το μήνυμα
Χρησιμοποιήστε τον πίνακα ASCII για να μετατρέψετε κάθε χαρακτήρα της πρότασης στον αντίστοιχο αριθμό.
Για παράδειγμα:
A = 65
B = 66
C = 67
και ούτω καθεξής.
💡 Προσοχή! Και το κενό ανάμεσα στις λέξεις έχει τον δικό του ASCII αριθμό.
4️⃣ Στέλνουμε το μυστικό μήνυμα
Τοποθετήστε το κωδικοποιημένο μήνυμά σας στο κοινό Taskcard, στην περιοχή του σχολείου που θα σας έχει ανατεθεί.
🔐 Μην γράψετε το αρχικό μήνυμα!
Αφήστε τους μαθητές του partner school να το ανακαλύψουν.
5️⃣ Αποκωδικοποιούμε μια άλλη πόλη
Τώρα θα λάβετε ένα κωδικοποιημένο μήνυμα από ένα άλλο σχολείο.
Χρησιμοποιήστε τον ίδιο πίνακα ASCII και αποκωδικοποιήστε το.
6️⃣ Αποκαλύπτουμε το μήνυμα!
Όταν βρείτε το μήνυμα, γράψτε την αποκωδικοποιημένη πρόταση στα αγγλικά κάτω από το κωδικοποιημένο μήνυμα.
🎉 Μόλις αποκωδικοποιήσατε ένα μήνυμα από μια άλλη ευρωπαϊκή πόλη!
🔎 Ένα μικρό παράδειγμα
Ας υποθέσουμε ότι το μήνυμα είναι:
HI
Με τον ASCII κώδικα:
H = 72
I = 73
Άρα:
HI → 72 73
Και αντίστροφα:
72 73 → HI
Αυτό ακριβώς θα κάνουμε, αλλά με μια μικρή πρόταση για την πόλη μας!
🔗 Η αλυσίδα των σχολείων
Επειδή συμμετέχουν 6 σχολεία, κάθε σχολείο θα στείλει το μήνυμά του σε ένα συγκεκριμένο partner school και θα αποκωδικοποιήσει το μήνυμα ενός άλλου.

Έτσι, κάθε σχολείο θα στείλει ένα μήνυμα και θα αποκωδικοποιήσει ένα διαφορετικό μήνυμα.

As part of Code Week and our eTwinning project “Be My Guide! – Our European Adventure”, we are going to play a coding and decoding game!
Our cities have many interesting things to share. This time, however, we will hide them using a common code: ASCII!
🌍 Our mission
Each group will write one short sentence in English describing a characteristic of their city.
For example, for Drama:
Drama is famous for its wine.
Then, we will convert the sentence into ASCII code.
The coded message will be shared on our common Taskcard with one of our partner schools.
The partner school will have a mission:
🔓 Decode the message!
They will decode the numbers and discover the original message in English.
In this way, one school sends a secret message and another school decodes it!
How will we play?
1️⃣ Think about your city
Think of one characteristic of your city that you would like the students from the partner schools to discover.
It could be:
- a famous landmark 🏛️
- a special place 🌳
- a local product 🍎
- a traditional food 🍽️
- a tradition 🎉
- something your city is famous for ⭐
2️⃣ Write a short message
Write one short sentence in English.
For example:
Drama is famous for its wine.
3️⃣ Encode the message
Use the ASCII Code Table to convert each character of your sentence into its corresponding number.
For example:
A = 65
B = 66
C = 67
and so on.
💡 Remember! Spaces between words also have their own ASCII number.
4️⃣ Send your secret message
Post your coded message on the common Taskcard, in the section of the partner school assigned to you.
🔐 Do not write the original sentence!
Let the partner students discover it.
5️⃣ Decode another city
You will receive a coded message from another school.
Use the same ASCII Code Table to decode it.
6️⃣ Reveal the message!
When you decode the message, write the original sentence in English below the coded message.
🎉 You have just decoded a message from another European city!
🔎 A small example
Suppose the message is:
HI
Using ASCII:
H = 72
I = 73
So:
HI → 72 73
And the other way around:
72 73 → HI
This is exactly what we will do, but with a short sentence about our city!
🔗 The school chain
As six schools are participating, each school will send its message to one specific partner school and decode a message from another school.
